Recently I was given the privilege of being involved with the ESPN film crew, for their
bonefishing show "Pirates of the Flats" airing in January of 2010. The crew spent a week
on our beautiful Island with several well known names, such as NBC News Anchor Tom
Brokaw, World Renowned Lefty Kreh, Actor Michael Keaton, just to name a few. Each day

Each Year Abaco Hosts
The Annual "Redbone"
Bonefishing
Tournament. The event
is in aid of Cystic
Fibrosis. The charity
draws avid fishermen
and celebrities and a
great adventure for all I
have had the pleasure of
being a local guide for
several of these events.

Bonefish & Tarpon Trust is a non-profit organization whose goal is "to protect and enhance
both species by gaining a better understanding of their biology and ecology"
During the recent ESPN week, Bonefish & Tarpon Trust was one of the guests included. At
this time I was asked if I would be involved in this endeavour. This required teaching me the
proper way to tag and record each fish my guests or myself catch.
This is an exciting time for Abaco and I am honored to be apart of this fantastic organization.
